West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, is set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on December 20 to address various issues, prominently the release of financial dues owed to the state. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has accepted Banerjee's request for the meeting, scheduled to take place at around 11 am.
The Chief Minister is expected to discuss a range of concerns, with a primary focus on the Center's outstanding dues, which she claims amount to Rs 1.15 lakh crore, covering various accounts, including payments related to 100 days of work under MNREGA.
